Hey all,

We did make it back safe and sound on Wednesday. It has been crazy trying to finish everything off, so I wont be back to update probably until I get back to Texas. Camp was AMAZING, and I will be sharing about that when I finally get the chance to sit down for a little bit with my computer. We really appreciate all the prayers; God was really working through this Bible camp.

Going to camp!!

Oh my goodness we have been soooooo busy this week!! We annualed 2 planes, finished a gearbox replacement, and finished installing an engine. There are still two planes in the hangar, and I do not know why... probably because I spent the day in Anchorage. We asked a mechanic friend to come out to help us with the engine in the 206, because he has a specialty tool we needed. Because he came to help us, we agreed to send a few people in to help with the work he should have been doing when he came to help us. I thought it was awesome, that we would be sending a couple of the guys down, and I would be around to work on drama stuff.

At devos, I was waiting to see what the plan was. And all the sudden, Dwayne told me I was going to anchorage with Mark and Andrew. Oh fun.... It turned out to be a really good day, but it was exhausting. We got the annual done on the 172, so I feel like we did a lot to help them out.

The big news for today is that we are leaving for camp tomorrow!!!! I am so thrilled, I dont know if I will be able to sleep tonight. Which is bad, because I wont be getting any sleep the next 2 weeks...

At this point, we need prayers for several things. Here they come, in no particular order:
1) weather. Our trip depends completely on the weather. It is looking a little iffy. pray that the wind is calm, the visibility is good, clouds are high, and the temperature is warm (enough).
2) attitudes. I know I personally am struggling with this one. It is getting better, but it is really hard for me, and I am sure it is hard for others!!
3) safety. We are taking 6 old planes north of the arctic circle. Does that sound like some sort of trouble to you? It has all sorts of possibility to cause problems.
4) kids. We have about 32 coming per week. Pray that their hearts will be prepared and open for the gospel. I am really excited to be showing the love of Jesus to these kids. Pray especially for the older ones, as they are already deep into things like smoking, alcohol, and drugs. I have heard that they are difficult to control, so we will need lots of prayer for them :)

The dates are as follows (as much of a schedule as we can keep...):
Aug 2-leaving for camp
Aug 3-getting the kids, camp for 8-12 yr olds begins
Aug 3-7 camp for 8-12 yr olds
Aug 8-younger kids leave, pick up older kids (13-20)
Aug 8-12 camp for older kids
Aug 12-older kids go home, we head back to King Ranch

I will let you know how it goes when we get back!! I love you all, and I thank you for prayers. We could not do this without our faithful prayer warriors. This is truly a journey of faith, and I am excited to see how God provides for everything.
